HEAR YE! HEAR YE! HEAR YE!OUR PRESIDENT, JARMAN J. KELSEY,
IS CALLING ALL MEMBERS TO THE 77th ANNUAL REUNION AND BUSINESS MEETING OF THE KELSEY KINDRED.
The 2018 reunion was held on August 24th and 25th in Clinton, Connecticut. Most events will be held at the Clinton American Legion Post 66 at 82 West Main St.
Saturday 9:00AM Registration and Hospitality will be held at the hall at 82 West Main St. in Clinton. We will have a continental breakfast available and coffee. Directions and maps for all weekend activities will be available along with items from our store. We will also have a scavenger hunt for all to enjoy. We will also be placing flags on Kelsey gravestones to make them easier to find if you wish to walk around the cemetery in the afternoon.
Saturday 1-2:30PM We will be serving a luncheon at the hall. We will have a Lobster/Chicken bake, including potatoes, corn on the cob, salad and homemade desserts Adult prices are $ for Lobster and $ for the chicken
We will hold the annual meeting right after lunch and then take group photos.
Saturday 4:00-8:00PM Clinton has its annual Summer fest. There will be many vendors and things to do all over Clinton. There are three main sites and stages for music and all kinds of activities and fun for all ages. The night ends with a fireworks display which is visible from all three sites and set off at the local town beach.
Sunday morning We will meet as a group to attend services at the Church of our ancestor. The Congregational Church of Clinton located across from the Town Hall on route one
Sunday 12-3PM Our Sunday picnic will be held at Hammonassett State Park in Madison CT. We will serve sandwiches, salads, chips and
desserts.
Fee for the picnic will be $10.00 per person, children are free. Bring your own lawn chair if you have one.
We will get there early to find a place as we cannot reserve a site so please just look for our sign.
