The 2007 Kelsey Kindred Annual Reunion
Reunion held in Clinton, CT
The Kelsey Kindred Reunion was held on Sept 7th to Sept 9th 2007 with our home base at the Town Hall again.
Friday night brouht us all together for Hospitality and the annual business meeting.
Saturday morning all interested parties boarded a bus and headed off to one of three locations. Some members visited the Nautilus and submarine museum in Groton, CT. The Nautilus was the first atomic submarine built for the United States Navy. Others went to the Mystic Aquarium for their fill of animals and science. The aquarium contains a large exhibit of scientific information gathered by Robert Ballard the under sea explorer. Historic Mystic Seaport was the final destination for participants. Mystic was a whaling town and the seaport offers a look into life during the whaling period. Saturday evening brought us all together at the Clinton Town Hall for a Lobster and Clam Bake. The baking contest followed the dinner with a large selection of mouth- watering desserts. Grand Prize winner was Jared Hall with his Chocolate Cappuccino cake.
On Sunday we held our picnic and beach party at the Clinton Town Beach. We had hot dogs, hamburgers salads and drinks. We played and enjoyed the beautiful waterfront before saying our goodbyes. Another memorable reunion with good friends and family!
