Kelsey Kindred 2026 Reunion

Hear ye Hear Ye,

Our president Jennifer Daniels is calling all members to the Annual reunion and business meeting to be held September 11 - 13th, 2026

The 2026 reunion and business meeting will be held in the Lake George area of New York. Our home base for the weekend will be the Silver Bay YMCA Conference and Family Retreat Center. On this, the 250th Birthday of our country, we have chosen to visit Fort Ticonderoga; an incredible piece of American history.

Friday Evening - 7 -9 PM Registration and get - acquainted hospitality will be held at the Hillcrest House on the Silver Bay Center campus. This will be our meeting area for Saturday and Sunday mornings as well.

Saturday Morning 8 – 9 AM We will be meeting at Hillcrest house for a Continental Breakfast of bagels, muffins, yogurt and fruit, as well as coffee, tea and juice. Monetary donations are appreciated.

9:30 AM We will leave the Center enroute to Fort Ticonderoga (approx. 15 miles away). Fort Ticonderoga is a 2000 - acre living history property on the banks of Lake Champlain. It is nestled between the Green Mountains of Vermont and the Adirondacks of New York. Your general admission will give you access to the Fort and its many daily scheduled demonstrations, the King’s garden, the Carillon Battlefield hiking trail, a seasonal corn maze and Mount Defiance, a hiking or drivable peak that gives you a birds-eye view of Ticonderoga’s military landscape. You will learn how this summit shaped American history. Our group rate admission fees are as follows: Adults $21.00 children $12.00, under 5 yrs free. Our group rate is a substantial savings over the general admission fee.

12:00 PM We will meet at the white tent by the Log Cabin Visitors Center where we will pass out the pre-ordered bag lunches. Feel free to sit and eat, or grab and go to eat on your own schedule. Please be prompt so we can all continue our visit at our leisure. Feel free to spend as little or as much time as you would like at the Fort. Closing time is 5 PM. Pre-ordered lunches cost $20.50 and come with a sandwich, chips, fruit, cookies, and a drink. Make your choices on the reservation card.

Saturday night 6:30 PM We will meet at the Mountain View Grill on the Center campus for our group and line photos,

followed by our dinner and business meeting. Dinner entrees run between $25.00 and $36.00 per plate, to be paid individually. You can check the menu on the internet at www.opentable.com. Children’s meal options will also be available.

8:00 PM Our business meeting will be held after dinner, followed by our Big Money trivia! This will be our own trivia quiz about our events over the weekend and information we have learned at the Fort, so pay attention. Don’t be afraid to play because many questions will be multiple choice. YOU CAN’T WIN IF YOU DON’T PLAY!

Sunday Morning 10 AM -1 PM Join us for a farewell brunch. We will again meet at the Hillcrest House where we will serve a full brunch menu with eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fruit, and an assortment of beverages. After brunch you are free to use the recreation areas on the property before heading home. Brunch fee will be $15.00 adults and $5.00 for children.

Where to stay:

We have a limited number of reserved hotel - style rooms at Silver Bay YMCA Conference and Family Retreat Center.

Hotel style - room rates are $193.00 double occupancy.

Cottages are $212.00 per night if you choose to use one, and sleep 3-4.

Dormitory - style rooms are also available with locker room style bathrooms and showers. These rooms are available for $92.00 per night.

Local taxes are not included. Check out for all room is 10 AM. When reserving, ask for the Kelsey Kindred Reunion room rate. Reservations must be made by 8/11/26 (first come, first served).

The Center’s recreational facilities include kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, archery, tennis, pickleball, disk golf, climbing wall, hiking trails, etc. As part of the weekend experience you must purchase a $5.00 per day pass (2 days) which allows you to participate in any or all of these activities. Those who will not be staying on the property may also purchase an activities pass if they want to for $15.00 per day.

The reservation deadline for everything except the accommodations is 8/22/26.
